Parents – have you heard of Mymob?
Mymob is a free-to-download Application (App) on your devices (mobile phone, ipad etc.) which helps families stay in touch with each other and share information with each other.
Remember the old communication book which gets passed from one parent to the other at changeover with the children? This App is similar to that but in addition to allowing you to leave messages for the other parent, it also allows you to share photographs, special moments etc. and has a calendar so that everyone can keep track of time to be spent with the children, special events etc. If the children are old enough and have a mobile phone they too can use the App to stay in touch with the parent they are not living with.
Some of our clients have had numerous problems with the old physical communication book – that parents were using abusive/manipulative language in the books, that parents would tear pages out of the book, that the book would go missing, that the children would read the book etc.
Any messages stored in this App also cannot be deleted, so parents who leave messages will be accountable for the messages left.
If you think this App will be useful for you and your family, download it and try it yourself!
